Matthew 27:45-54
On the Day Death Died:
- God’s judgement on sin was miraculously proclaimed with absolute darkness (v. 45)
- God’s holiness miraculously alienated Christ (v. 46-47)
- God’s holiness miraculously embraced Christ (v. 50)
- God’s grace miraculously enabled us to enter His holy throne room as heirs (v. 51)
- God’s providence miraculously declared the earth’s coming judgement (v. 51)
- God’s sovereignty miraculously declared Jesus Lord of the living and the dead (v. 52)
- God’s grace miraculously declared Jesus Christ as the saving Son of God (v. 54)
